‘Street Trike’ May Have You Considering Three Wheels
Harley-Davidson Conversion Kit Turns ‘Frankenstein’ Trike Into One Helluva Good-Looking Beast
Trikes are not for everyone, but for those who must rely on one to enjoy the thrill of riding, they’re everything. Unfortunately, trike design has remained sort of stagnant for decades, with most looking like bloated and rather frumpy versions of their two-wheeled counterparts. That’s why this Frankenstein Harley-Davidson conversion kit jumped out at us while we were browsing the latest Harley videos.
Based out of Pleasanton, Kansas, Frankenstein Trikes offer a fresh take on the old-school tricycle. The “Street Trike” featured in this YouTube video is an actual conversion kit you can buy for your beloved Harley. As a result, you don’t have to get rid of your two-wheeler when the desire/need for a trike comes along. All you have to do is simply buy the conversion kit and turn a few wrenches. The best part? This Street Trike looks pretty darn cool. Better than most trikes, for sure.
“Quality and design set us apart from our competitors. We use only the best components and materials such as Dana differentials, 9-inch Ford street/strip axles, billet 4-piston calipers, stainless steel rotors, grade 8 or better hardware and 6061 T6 Billet aluminum,” reads the video description.
Whether it’s because of a physical limitation, comfort or plain personal preference, riding a trike should be fun. And you should also look damn good doing so, no?
