Video: How NOT to Pass Traffic on a Motorcycle

You’re a rider, I’m a rider, we’re all riders, which means we’ve seen lots of cool bike moves and others not so much. But what you’ll see on this onboard video is plan stupid.

An onboard video courtesy of, gfish66, shows us a view from onboard his Harley-Davidson as he enjoys a cruise on what looks like a sunny day with clear blue skies. I’m sure his day was going great until a fellow rider decided to do something completely idiotic.

Passing on two lane roads where one must briefly face incoming traffic to pass a slower vehicle is already dangerous enough on its own, so to double up while passing on the incoming traffic lane is simply a bad idea. But that’s exactly what this other rider does.

Not only do the cars the motorcycle is passing don’t expect two motorcycles to zoom by them, but the guy recording the video may be too concentrated on his own pass to realize another biker was about to fly past him at the same time. Had he not looked at his side mirrors, he could’ve easily hit the other biker and caused a huge accident.

Use your manners!
