Awesome, Earth-conscious Motorcyclist Gets Instant Revenge On Litterbug

It’s on you to protect the environment. That doesn’t mean you can’t have a little fun with it.

When most people think of the typical motorcyclist, they generally think of a leather-clad badass. The idea of a motorcyclist caring about the environment may not gel with the general public’s preconceived–and ill-informed–notions. But, of course, we know better.

Short of a bit of occasional noise pollution, we motorcyclists love the great outdoors. Camping, exploring, and checking out the scenery are all major components of the lifestyle. So, when a motorcyclist sees someone littering, you may see some other motorcyclist stereotypes take hold: a penchant for mischief and a take-no-bull attitude.

Dash cams and helmet cams are all the rage in Russia, and we’ve all seen some crazy things go down. This video, shared by the U.K.’s Daily Mail, is a little different. It’s a lot more low-key than your usual crash compilation video, but it’s no less entertaining. The best part, of course, is that no-one gets hurt.

In the video, the motorcyclist spots a passenger in a van throw some trash out the window. With traffic more or less at a standstill, Captain Planet puts his kickstand down and walks to pick up the discarded fast food cup. Without missing a beat, he calmly walks up to van, and in full view of the driver and passengers, places the offending cup underneath the litterbug’s windshield wiper.

With his good deed for the day now complete, he walks back to his motorcycle, and rides off into the sunset. That calm attitude made the video so much better than us. If you’ll excuse the tired phrase, revenge is a dish best served cold. In this case, “revenge” took the form of a discarded soda cup.

The folks in the van didn’t seem fazed by the display. Maybe they were too shocked or frightened to move or react. After all, nobody wants to mess with a biker.
