NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle Championship
Do you watch drag racing, do you follow Harley-Davidson? If you answered yes then we bet you already know Andre Hines is leading the points.
H-D Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines rider Andrew Hines blasted to a win in the Pro Stock Motorcycle final at the NHRA Toyota Nationals in Las Vegas and leads NHRA Countdown to the Championship playoffs with one race left on the schedule. November 12-15 in Pomona California.
Hines, the defending and four-time class champion, raced his V-Rod motorcycle through the Pro Stock Motorcycle field and won for the third time in five 2015 Countdown races.
If Hines wins a 5th championship it would pass his brother as the rider with the most titles in class history. With only 10 points separating 1st and 2nd, and 25 points from 1st to 3rd it comes down to 3. Whoever goes the furthest in the run up to the final will win it all. For 3rd place Krawiec he needs 2 more rounds than his competitors.
With MotoGP going to the last round, and Pro Stock Motorcycle also going to the last round to decide the title it is a good year to be a motorcycle racing fan.
