Would-Be Purse Snatcher Foiled by Superhero Biker

In a scene straight out of a superhero movie, Vyacheslav Verkhogliad (according to RT.com), a motorcyclist in Kiev, is just sitting in traffic, minding his own business, when he suddenly hears a horn, and looks up to see a man running towards him, purse in hand.

Sure, gentleman’s European Carryalls are all the rage in Kiev (so I’ve heard), but Verkhogliad — who I’m going to call Super Hog (why doesn’t he ride a hog?) — isn’t fooled for a second. He immediately hops off his bike in hot pursuit of the purse-snatcher. And the chase is on!

The thief leads Super Hog down the boulevard, then jumps over a railing, and into oncoming traffic. But that doesn’t stop Super Hog, he just hand gestures the traffic to a stop, and continues chasing down the bad guy.

Eventually, the would-be thief realizes he’s met his crime-fighting match, drops the purse, and keeps running. Super Hog picks it up, then points at the man, as if to say, “I’ve got your number, scumbag.”

The best part of the video is after he returns the purse, the owner gives him a huge kiss on the side of his helmet. Super Hog saves the day, and gets the girl in the end. Awesome.
