Softail slim with Bassani Firesweep, solution to scrape floorboard first?
a couple years ago I installed the Bassani Firesweep on my Softail Slim 2014, I like the look, the sound and want to keep it, however I live with a constant fear of scraping the exhaust on a right turn because its lower than the floorboard.
I do have the instinct to use body weight technique and taking it wide, inside a curve, to reduce the necessary lean angle and, so far, never scraped the exhaust, but I am gentle with the right side (different story for left side where I sometime scrape on more, rare, aggressive turn).
Now, I am wondering if there is anything safe like a "puck" or something I could put under the floorboard, to add a couple millimeters, to make sure the floorboard touch first and, if there is, what do you recommend and is there a strategic spot where I should install it?
Thank you!
