Harley-Davidson teamed with Weber this year combining two internationally-known American pastimes of BBQing and riding the open road with a special H-D badged Q 1200 grill. Available now in factory orange the grill will be in the spotlight at Weber’s stand at Sturgis this year. Weber has partnered with the Rally as Official Grill Sponsor. Look out for the Mobile Grill Truck in your neck of the woods they’ll be more interactive with engaging complimentary Weber Academy daily grilling lessons plus an extra three special classes using the H-D grill.

You’ve most likely seen the 53-foot expandable Weber Grill Truck at a show in the past. This time sounds like Weber-Stephen Products are sending out a larger bandwagon ready to heat up the show. During the Rally from August 8th to 14th the truck will be staffed by product specialists and chefs on-hand answering cooking questions even sharing grilling techniques and recipes. Daily grilling lessons are offered to the first 20 people who register each day but only a handful will get to take the lesson using the new H-D edition Q 1200 grill. No word yet on specific times for those H-D cooking lessons.

During the special lesson you’ll get the use the 189-square inches of cooking space the Q 1200 gas grille has to offer. Stacked porcelain-enameled cast iron cooking grates it is also equipped with twin-winged foldable tables, push start fire-up, integrated thermometer and ready to pump 8,500 BTU-per hour. You may have toured their mobile showroom or even taken a grilling class in the past but as an official sponsor Weber things might get interesting. Maybe we’ll see them bring out prototype or even antique museum grills showcasing like a proper motorcycle show. Bring your appetites and extra napkins Sturgis is greasy.
