X-Ray Specs Never Looked So Cool
In what has to be one of the coolest and raddest art projects in the history of art, this is just truly spectacular. What you are looking at is artist Nick Veasey’s newest project.
It’s called Motorcycles which isn’t the most unique name he could have come up with since you can tell by exactly what it is by subject manner.
What Nick wanted to do was showcase the art and engineering of golden age motorcycles by X-Ray scanning each of the bikes to build a massive full scale image. Nick X-Rayed old Indians, Matchless, and Harleys to make these absolutely stunning images. Each bike took over 30 separate X-Rays to complete.
Just the detail and small bits of old school engineering you can see through the X-Ray lens is quite staggering. They almost don’t look real. What do you all think of these gorgeous prints, sound off in the comments below and check out the rest of Nick’s work here.
