It helped, but I still have a slight whistle at certain RPM levels. I've grown to like it though...sounds kinda like a supercharger. I've also powdered the end cap black since this video. How did you get the baffle out? I removed the two bolts and end cap. But the baffle seems loged in there. I got kinda the same sound. Sort of lol

Yeah, it wasn't easy to get out of there the first time for sure. I just pulled on it for quite some time until it finally gave way. It will come out, but it takes some muscle to get it broke loose. Mine was bad when I first got it on, but I got most of it out of there. It's still not all gone, but I can live with what little it does have. It's been on there for almost 2 years at this point. Now I am looking to swap it for something different.

I use a all thread rod with large washers that will fit into the baffle. On the other end is a slap hammer, kinda. It is a piece of 3/4inch metal with a hole in the center. Works good.

No problem. Not much help I know, but it has been awhile. I know it comes out, and I know it was a real pain in the ***. I'm looking to swap pipes....getting tired of the 2-1 look on my bike. I get bored with stuff way too easy.

Default Added Thunder Torque Cone

Adding my clips to the thread. I didn't have any whistling, but I didn't think the sound was deep enough. My V&H had a much deeper tone.

I had a spare DK Customs Thunder Torque cone (they come in pairs), so I mounted it using the hole for the end cap. I had to drill the hole out a little to get the TT bolt to work. It came up a little to low, so I added a joining nut and used a stainless button head on the outside. Don't ask me the sizes...these were what I had in my baby-jars full 'o crap.

Anyway, the tone is much improved with the TT in there. Here are before and after clips if anyone is interested in this pipe. Hard to tell on computer speakers, but with headphones or sound system, the after clip has more rumble.
