They have fixed the 2014 clutch issues with 2 recalls, any later production models SHOULD be fixed...

Default Do You Want The Black

I just ordered the red one. My dealer had a black one on the floor, there is a reason they have them instead of the red. Mostly easier to move because nothing distinguishes the bike as a FFSE. The red is a Firefighter specific color.
I know of no differences other than the slight increase in gage size between the 14 and 15.
Good luck

I have not heard of any 2015's with this issue.
"Some" of the '14's had a bad seal in the clutch master cylinder. They were recalled and repaired. You won't find this on the '15's because they have the same new seal that they replaced on the '14's. It had nothing to do with the clutch itself.

Default ECM spark advance

Recently found out there is a diferance with the 15 ecm. The 14 will not advance the timing without sensing a load, maybe just for crusing I do not have all the details at this time, but there is a diferance. If you dyno/tune a 2014, the Harley dealer will need to flash the 2015 modification beforehand.

The Lows were the big change for 2015.

I started a thread 10/4/14 about the ECM update that the dealer did on my 14 Limited at the 10K service in October. Several people posted that the ECM couldn't be updated or there dealer told then there wasn't an update. Others complained that if the dealer reflashed the ECM it would wipe out any custom tunes they had on there modified bikes.

I'm not married to black and my wife prefers red. All the dealers said they'd be real happy to order me a red one, but even if I paid cash today it wouldn't get here until well after Bike Week.

Right now there's a new black FFSE 2015 sitting 25 miles from my house, a new black FFSE 2014 sitting 30 miles from my station, and not a single red FFSE within 500 miles, though there is an interesting red 2014 FFSE Heritage Softail in Wisconsin....
