Default 2014 vs. 2015 ultra Limited

Is there any difference between a 2014 and 2015 Ultra Limited? Wife found two she's interested in me picking up at different dealers (Firefighter specials), and I can't find a difference between them.

Anything I'm missing? (getting one may not be an option - that's a lot of money on firefighter pay!)

Nothing significant. The gauges are slightly different (so I've heard) and paint options are different. Same bike, engine, etc. Good luck!!

The two I'm looking at are both identically painted vivid black with the firefighter medallions, so paint is the same. I'm mostly wondering if there were any running changes under the skin - like wiring, tensioners, re-designed parts, etc. - that won't be visible.

Stars would have to line up just right for me to get one, but if it happens I'd want to get the right one because it'd be a long term keeper.

Everything as far as mechanical and electrical is the same. The gauge thing is minor; it has to do with the size of the numbers from what I've heard.

a friend is staying with us this week, in Florida. I have a 14 limited and my 15 low limited side by side in the garage as I write this. I just walked to the garage and looked at the gauges. they are identical. they are the same color as well. I have a power vision download on mine and use slightly more gas at each fill up. I see no difference in the two bikes.

I haven't heard of any changes other than a couple of the indicator lights on the gauges.

The 14 is a year old bike the second you sign the papers. You will get a better deal on the 14 because the dealer wants to move it. The drawback is if you only keep it a couple of years it will be worth quite a bit less when you go to sell or trade it. If your going to keep it 10+ years then 1 model year difference will have very little effect on the resell value.

2014's have the hydraulic clutch issue. Guy I work with dumped is 2014 in his garage after pulling in the clutch, dropping it in gear and it took off. The bike has spent way to much time at the dealer getting fixed.

I have not heard of any 2015's with this issue.

How big a guy are you? If 29" inseam or less then sit on the 2015 Limited Low before you decide.
