Default Power Vision PV2

Well I finally broke down, called Fuelmoto, and ordered a PV2 Tuner today (thanks Safetyman lol). It will be here Thursday and I'm dying to see how it does. I do have a question for those of you using it. You don't have to remove the O2 sensors do you?

Thanks for the quick response. That was driving me nuts. I saw that I could only do the basic autotune with the stock O2 sensors, so I was confused. Fuelmoto is sending me the unit with the map already loaded for my configuration. Do any of y'all recommend doing the autotune after flashing that map?

Yes, until your VEs are changing less than 5%. Will probably take multiple autotune runs.

I watched some videos on this but didn't find ones specifically on the rushmore bikes... is the VE table TPS x RPM (aka Alpha-N)? Or is it MAP x RPM (speed density)?

Nope.

Once the base is loaded, I vtune until I got below the 5% mentioned.

Fuel Moto told me three twenty minute auto tune sessions are recommended, but they also told me most folks do not do an auto tune at all. I do the three and believe it worthwhile. The thing about PV is there is something for everyone, You can just load the custom tune and run,or you can do the auto tunes. Then there is so much more for those who really want to get into it.

So do the flash that they put on the tuner for my configuration and then run autotune 3 times?

or 4, or 5, or... until the VEs deltas are less than 5%.
