Feedback on 2014 Ultra Limited liquid heads

The thermostat failures were all leaks at the elbow (when looking at it from the front of the bike at the cooling system cover, it is the elbow that goes into the thermostat from the lower left of the thermostat and hangs just outside the cover).
All were covered under the warranty, but it expires in October, so therefore I got the extended warranty - mainly for this issue. Cost of thermostat is $75; don't know the labor.
The water pump was diagnosed by the dealer and I suspect that it was in conjunction with the thermostat; they changed the thermostat and I wanted them to test it robustly, as I was taking off for a 3,000 mile trip. After testing and riding it, they said it needed a new pump - don't know if the thermostat malfunction caused it or if it was not pumping when they tested it. I don't know the cost of the water pump and labor to install.
Since the last thermostat was changed (with the updated version) last week, I have ridden about 125 miles and no leaking yet and no loss of coolant. High hopes for this one!

I **** you not, that is now a $2200 seat. After 1 major foam/gel modification, and 2 complete recovers. (had to re-do another trunk backrest when I moved from my 09 to my 14) But it it custom tailored to my butt, comfortable as hell, and the back feels like a bag of marshmallow fluff or that its full of pudding when you press on it, but absolutely is the BOMB according to every girl thats ever rode back there.
Needless to say, the seat moves with me to new bikes.
On the 09 Street glide
09 Street glide meets 14 Limited. Parts swap day at the dealer
New Trunk backrest for the 14

Well folks, the deal went south on the 2014 Ultra Limited. But that's ok, l'm going to hang lose now. I'm sure there will plenty more come up for sale when the new 2017's come out. Fingers crossed.
I really want to say "Thanks" for all the feedback. It has been very helpful. A Great Forum.

44k miles on my '14 UL. No issues whatsoever with cooling system. By the time I had this many miles on my '09, I had dealt with oil leaks from the primary and transmission, starter failures, and wheel bearing failures, and at 50k had an epic tranny failure.
So far this bike has been solid.
