Made an offer of 36k on CVO Limited

I learned that lesson with a 2008 car I bought "new" in October of 2008. If you go to sell or trade in a couple of years, you'll likely loose all or more than you thought you saved over buying a 2015.
That 2014 has a year more of depreciation on it than the identical 2015 sitting right next to it on the showroom floor.

Mostly because a 2014 is a year old bike now.

It may be "brand new in the showroom", but as soon as you sign the paper, it is a year old.
Almost did that on a 2012 RAM last year, brandy spankin' new in the lot, but yet, 2 years old the minute I say I'll take it.... bought a 14 instead.
