How to get it to go straight to media and Ipod when turned on, every time I stop the bike the radio goes back to AM favorite and I have to go thru the whole sequence to get back to the ipod

 

Hit and miss for me. Sometimes it resumes where I left it and others it reverts back to FM. Not sure there is a setting you can change to resolve this issue.

 

Hmmm, sounds like mine, does what it wants not what I want

 

Try going to "acc" mode first and let it boot up all the way through to "accept", then go to "on" and then "start". Mine always goes to iPod then. The system is finicky for sure though.

 

Just tried it and it did go to ipod, we'll see if it continues to work. You would think it would go back to the last function regardless of how you turn it on, thanks though, may have to use your method from now on.

 

When I start the bike right away (before the music starts) it seems to always go to the FM instead of the media I was listening to. If I wait for the music to start playing before I hit the starter button it seems to go to the media where and the last song playing.

 

I'm going to try that but it seems awfully wasteful to run the battery down with the headlights and radio everything going before you fire the motor up.

 

Headlight is not on when in ACC position.

 

Are you not infotained?

 

OK here's the trick. turn on the radio. press and hold fav button when the screen changes select media or usb if thats what you use. Now every time you turn on the ignition switch wait for the music to start before starting the bike. works for me.
