I like you just can't deciede either on the looks. I stare at all the street Glides CVO included at the dealer with them but can't make up my mind if their bad a$$ or Geezer Glide.
If I had the stereo 4 channel, I think that would help sway my opinion.
I've been looking for a used pair incase I change my mind but haven't come across any black ones yet.
Great thread.

I think the Streetglide is already a badass bike. The lowers are just icing on the cake.

They really help with the head buffeting on the Road Glide. I pulled the vents out of the lowers and run them all year like that. Bad ***,I don't think so. More a function over looks.

I think they look good. I put some on my street glide. But pull em off in the summer. They're vented with a set of 6.5 speakers. But its still hot in the summer.

I think they tie in well with street glides.

Hmmm...I like mine. Plus lowers help that crazy wind that blows upwards

Default fairing lowers

I used to leave them off for looks. Now I travel a lot and leave them on for protection against wind and rain.

I don't have a Street Glide so take my opinion with a grain of salt. I've seen a lot of beautiful Street Glides without the lowers but as a whole, I like them better with the lowers. They look less top heavy... more balanced if you will. Then again, I'm an old geezer so what do I know!
