Anybody else thinking of putting stock exhaust back on their bike?
Just curious.

I'm hearing crickets, brother. Perhaps tell us why you're thinking of maybe doing it?

Between a little too loud and the annoying decel pop I get ever since putting on my slip ons I'm ready for peace and quiet.
Was going to go with a tuner and breather kit since I'm told that would get rid of the decel pop but I'm also told my exhaust will probably get louder. I've checked for air leaks to combat the pop and there are none. It's just, like all other Harley's, because they run f'ing lean.
Still up in the air. If you have any suggestions I'm open
Thanks

Look into CVO take-off mufflers, better flowing than stock non-CVO mufflers, a bit louder but has a very nice tone, not boomy or tinny. I got mine from eBay in like new condition with shields for $200.

Same here. Had VH slip ons but had the decel popping. Also a little louder than I like. I do a lot of long trips, not just riding around town. Just put my stock back on with decat headpipe. No more popping, more low end torque and like the sound as well.

A good tune should eliminate any decel pops. If your pipes are too loud, then maybe reverting back to stock is your best bet.
