Did you have any major work done?

Were the trans and engine ever separated?

Was the bike in an accident?

Do you have oil leaks/drips at the bottom of engine/trans joint where the cases mate up?

I don't know about excessive crank case pressure, but it looks more to me like the gasket between the transmission and the engine cases is leaking...

Hard to tell in the video though.

It's a cheap gasket, but a bunch of labor to change.

Help us out here, give some details...

Any work done on the bike?

Is it leaking?

Max that gave me a headache...

I would check the torque on the transmission to engine bolts.

I couldn`t see in the video if any work had been performed on the bike in that area...

Found the issue.

It's a built 128. Friend had overfilled the oil which increased crankcase pressure and was forcing it out. Checked all torque values. Drained a quart and the fluid stopped bubbling out.

Thanks for all the info and even the parts

Probably need to tear it down and replace that gasket. Will do if it comes back.

While lowering the oil level may have fixed the problem, it still shouldn't leak there at any time.. Well, maybe if the motor was so overfilled so much that it was blowing out everywhere..

You might want to keep your friend away from working on the bike..

I'm no expert.... however...

If you checked torque values, then we can assume the gasket didn't leak because the joint was loose.

If increased crankcase pressure from an overfilled engine caused oil "bubbling out" from the gasket, it would appear the gasket is now compromised.

I've yet to see a compromised gasket heal itself. They tend to just get worse over time.

Although lowering of the oil level has stopped oil from "bubbling out", I suspect you still have a leak there.

You'll most likely need to fix it before long...
