Default windshield install question

Just ordered a new clear view windshield for my 14 Limited. To install is it as simple as removing the three screws pull out the old shield and slip in the new, reinstall the screws? Thanks

I loosened the 4 inner fairing screws a little to allow me to open the gap a little more. It's less than a 5 minute job.

Yep, super easy. I didn't feel the need to loosed the inner fairing bolts like other s have said. Torque the bolts back to spec (don't over tighten) evenly.

Post some pics when you have it installed and let us know what size you went with.

Best to complete the final tighten from the center out or side to side? Don't have a torque wrench, is it necessary? I realize not to over tighten.

I really appreciate everyone's feedback.

Just be easy. They don't have to be very tight. There is a rubber gasket in there. I did the center then the outside, but sort of tweaking one then the other - rotating around all three till tight, like you would put on lug nuts. Not sure it matters.

3 Bolts ten minutes... I got the tallest Clearview... I can sit up and look over it or lay back on the Hwy peg's and look thru it.

Thank you, that makes sense to me. Does the rubber gasket come out with the original windshield or is it attached to the fairing?
