My buddy recently bought a 2014 Street Glide, it has less than 100 miles on it and he's had it back to the dealer twice due to a clunking noise.

The dealer is telling him its normal for the Rushmore models suspension to make a random clunking noise. I think just aren't familiar enough with the new model yet to know what the issue may be.

Anyone else run into this?

Suspension bottoming out?

 

I haven't heard any clunking noises, the only thing I have heard in on a big bump sometimes the kick stand with drop alittle and I feel the spring pulling it back up.

 

Mine is making a rattle/clunk noise coming from the front end and I think I found the problem. There's a plastic clip that's not holding tight enough and when it comes loose, it rattles & clunks. Here's a short video of the noise it makes:

Hear a pretty bad "clunk" whenever I go over a large bump. Sounds like when I engage 1st gear

 

Me too. I hear / feel when i cross the seams in the road.
