Sorry guys , as a computer user I make a good plumber !! I am looking to install 6 1/2" speakers in fairing lowers that are '13 type shape on my '14 S.G. have seen fairing factory speaker boxes that I think will fit . Don,t like the'14 square shape lowers , designed for the radiators .Anyone fitted lowers and speakers to their '14 S.G. ?

I'm still not following you....but I installed these myself. The PODS you need to buy to make the whole deal work in the lowers are important. It's the box that captures the air to make them work at peak performance. Kind of why the upper 2014 speakers sound so much better than the 2013's. The speaker BOX, the pod makes a big difference. Kind of like a sub woofer just installed in a flat piece of wood or mounted in the proper sized woofer box.

I don't believe so....because the pods are new for 2014. But not 100% sure.

DBLXX, I am preparing to do the same. My lowers are already on bike. Do I need to remove lowers to install kit and speakers. I see that I have to drill a hole in the lower. Thanks

Think I may have to go the '14 lowers . Do you have any pics from the front , and side showing clearance of your fork mounted wind deflectors ?
