Removed the db killer baffle from my S&S 2-1, sounds much better from idle all the way up. I also like the power delivery better, I am experiencing less jerky response from the throttle at low speeds.

Did it lose any low rpm torque or throttle response? I thought about doing that myself.
I actually prefer the way power comes on now, especially at low speeds. It feels much smoother overall, although idle vibrations did increase The bike feels and sounds more like my 100hp Buell XB Lightning now. I highly recommend trying it without the insert, and if you prefer the back pressure and slightly snappier low RPM torque, put it back in. I will not be re-installing the part in my exhaust though.
