Newbie New Deluxe

Nice looking ride...you are gonna have a lot of fun.
I am short also, but looking at your pic, even though you are short, you might actually have longer arms and legs than I do. My sleeve length is only 31" and inseam 28" so I needed to do a lot to make my ride on my '18 Heritage comfortable.
I had Cherry lowered 1" front and rear, so in effect it is really a Deluxe with Heritage trim and I also use the Reach Seat which puts me a good position to reach the foot controls and the ground.
Howerver, I was not very comfortable with the HB position. I used a set of pivoting risers to move the bars up about 2 inches and back toward me about 1 1/2 inches. PITA job to install, but no extensions needed. Now I am much more comfortable than when it was stock.
FYI. I did have the Reach Seat modified by Mean City Cycles In North Carolina. I had them do their memory foam upgrade. Gained about 1/2 inch lower and much much more comfort.
I also have a Grasshopper Back rest that has an extended slip in plate so it aligns with the back of the seat. Helps to make you sit up straighter when in the saddle.
