Spikes look dangerous.

hello OldMike, I like your pegs, they look flatter and less tall than their origins, do you think they lower the position a bit ?
it could be an extra point in addition to a higher saddle to improve the position

I just looked at the stock peg, I'd say it does not lower your foot.
If you are used to floorboards, get a mini floorboard, get one with more rubber coverage than mine.

They look like they don't stick out as far as the stock pegs. Is that the case? If so there should be a slight increase in ground clearance.

more ground clearance would mean higher peg/ floor boards resulting in higher foot height. Something you don’t want as foot height is one of the biggest hurdles with these bikes as far as comfort. No?

thanks you all for your answers, I 'm just looking after the best conditions to adjust my position on the bike and I would avoid doing any mistake, mini flootboards are nice but the HD ones for pilot are no more available and someone above in this thread said that the mini footboards from Trashin are higher than the stock pegs, so it's not a good solution ?

All the install video I have seen with the trashin mini floor boards shows having to adjust brake and shifter as they raise foot height. They are also problematic with vibration (metal) from what I have read. The ones mike has look like a good option., I am very happy with my rubber padded Hd floor boards. Also choose thin footwear.

I run the Hd series with the dk custom’s highway peg set up. Very comfortable.

I also recently went from the tall boy seat to the saddlemen explorer. It also raises you up but locks you in. Something to consider if you are going with 5.5 pull back risers. 5.5 with the tall boy seat you will still be reaching. The tall boy seat will rub your fender a little as it is very wide. Rub marks did buff out. Just a heads up.
