In my experience forks improve handling, shocks improve comfort. Though the additional height helps with lean angle.

Hey Chad, good to see the mods you’re doing to your bike. My bike is in the shop right now for the dyno tune on the new 124. Seeing if she can crack 150 hp. 😈

My son is thinking about a new S. How is the new quarter fairing? Does it keep the wind off your chest, and if you’re wearing a full face helmet, your head as well?

The QF works well to keep wind off your chest, but it doesn't reach high enough to affect your head. But I'm 6'2" so it may be different on others. But the purpose of a cafe fairing is to do just that. Reduce wind on your chest while leaving your head in clear, unbuffeting air, which is done by having the cutoff (turbulent air zone) below the head. Some fairings with taller shields can move that up, but the HD fairing doesn't.

And good luck with the tune! Be sure to post the results.

Not sure if you guys saw, but there is a company called Dirty Dixie Performance that has come out with windshield options for the quarter fairing. 10,12,14 and 16 inch if I recall correctly.

We just finished up a cool build on a customers 2020 Softail Low Rider S. FM 128 kit 11.5:1 comp, FM Level B CNC heads, Wood WM8-9F60 cam, AIM SDR clutch, HPI throttle body & 2/1 exhaust, tuned with Dynojet Power Vision. Final numbers were 161 horsepower 152 torque. Gonna be one fun ride for sure.

Well, maybe off the line, but you'd have to shed 150 lbs to really smoke a Busa.

But really impressive numbers. Holy chit! Would be a hoot to ride.
