Default Compensator bit the dust

Let me begin by saying I ride the **** out of my bikes but have never lost a compensator. I do not lug or drop the clutch at high rpm. Thinking this may be a delayed problem from my wreck a while back. At any rate I might as well get a Dark Horse, screw going back with a stock replacement.
Never heard a sound, it just went out. Luckily I was at low speed pulling into the parking lot at work.

2018 FXFBS bought in April 2019 with 4 miles on it, stage 2, just under 8,000 miles.

I hope there were just a few bad ones in the 2018 production run.

That darkhorse piece looks really nice...like everything they make. A little pricey but you'll never have to buy another one.

Damn...never heard of a compensator doing that.Even if you dropped the clutch at red line, the compensator should not explode.
