Kickstand C-clip
Anyone every have an issues with the c-clip on the bottom of the pin used for the kickstand coming off all by itself? I was changing the shift linkage and adding a swingarm bag the other day and saw the c-clip laying on the ground underneath the bike. I keep a piece of cardboard on the floor to check for any leaks, so I knew it didn't roll under there from something else. After rolling around of the garage floor trying to see the underside for a half hour or so, I saw the kickstand pin looked to be a little tall on the top. Sure enough it was. I knocked it back down with a hammer and punch and flattened out the clip as best I could (it looked to be a little concave) and was able to push it back on a little easier than I'd like to be able to. Stock height 18 Fat Boy with stock kickstand. Any tips on making sure it stays on there or other options as far as kickstands? I'd hate to come out to the garage or wherever I'm at to find it on it's side. Thanks in advance!
