Default Woods 22xE or S&S 475-c

Will be going with one of these cams in the near future. Currently running Bassani rr-3 with power vision. Thought’s or actual experience with one of these cams with this exhaust would be appreciated. Also any opinions on extra vibration after any cam install would also be appreciated.

Ya may want to add the Zippers RS468 cam to that list. Really great cam with great numbers. Just take a look see. Can't go wrong with any one of then. I would be Zippers and Woods in 1 and 2 spots. But. That's cause I just put the 468 in my 19. 😁

was just watching a video clip of that cam, it sounds great. Can’t go wrong with any of them, I agree. I will probably make my final decision when I call fuel moto to order.

Here's a video clip of mine . S&S 2-1 Sidewinder with the DB reducer in. Tuned with a Powervision tuner.

I heavily considered both cams for my ‘19 FXLR. I ended up going with the 22x-e and honestly I couldn’t be happier. It has my bike in the perfect spot, i added it with an HPi 2-1 and it sounds incredible. Still sounds like a hot rod , missing out on a little lope that the 475c has(if that’s what you’re going for). It runs like crazy. Feels like instant powder everywhere and pulls hard all the way to 6k for me. I’m still running fuel motos tune they sent me with multiple auto tune sessions. I would highly recommend the 22x-e. The good news is I think you’ll be happy either way

that looks like a good combo.

when it comes to these M8’s I feel like you can’t go wrong with a cam. Just pick one you like from the dyno sheets and be prepared to smile when it’s done, it makes a huge difference

stage 2 m8 numbers are great. My 2012 twin cam 103 had S&s hp 103 cams and head work that set compression at 10.2. It dynoed out 102 hp and 112 Torks. I did leave power on the table with the 2into2 python pipes. I look at your stage 2 number’s and I am amazed. Great set- up you have.

I am on the same crossroad as op. I am thinking about:
- S&S 475 with
- fuel moto exhaust inserts and
- a bigger throttle body or manifold and
- a bigger injectors

Quick Reply: Woods 22xE or S&S 475-c
