Yes, you will see another connector in the kit that fits the harness. They also give you the loose terminals. Since I already had a set of crimpers I bought when doing new taillights, I cut off the larger connector and crimped on the new smaller terminal and slide them into the connector.
The directions are terrible and don’t tell you that you have more connectors in the kit than you will use. The power connectors on the harley’s are all the same style. The two wire square-ish. But apparently there is a large style and a smaller style.
thanks for the reply. I ended up cutting and splicing with the butt connectors. It all worked out, but a heck of a lot more frustrating than when I have done this in the past. All forgotten as soon as the heated grips warm me up on a cool afternoon ride!
I just picked up my new Low Rider ST. I see that a lot of guys have the Klock Werks wind screen. Does anyone have the bronze one on their bike. If so can you post up a picture. Id like to see what it looks like on a bike before I drop 250 on one.
Thanks in. advance

The HD 2" one? lots of people run them. Clean air on thr helmet, chest and body protected. Best screen there is.
That 5 mi ride home was terrible too, ergonomics stock were trash.

What he said.
Let's face it...if you're 6ft tall or more, or if you just have long legs, the stock ergos on this bike (the S or the ST, it doesn't matter) are horrific. The bare minimum for me to make this bike ridable is a tall boy type seat, taller rear shock, mini floor boards (not fwd controls), taller risers, and probably a different handlebar. That's probably $2K before I even touch the engine or front suspension.
I've been toying with the idea of getting a used S, but knowing just how much I will end up sinking into this depreciating asset has had me delaying my decision for over a year now. By the time I end up getting the bike up to my standards, money wise I could have bought a nice Ducati Multistrada V4S or another KTM Adventure bike. I'm really sick and tired of buying a Harley, and having to dump a shitload of cash into it just to make it rideable and decent. It gets old.
I was like you at the beginning, the ergonomics of this bike did not suit me at all, I am 5"10 and I have long legs (34 inseam) but by putting 5.5" risers with 1" of pullback (100 €) a used Sport Glide seat (140€) a used Heritage shock absorber (150€) I found a good compromise and I feel quite good on my FXLRS 114, I am waiting for a wider pair of pegs to complete the whole thing and I think it will be fine, with time and miles my body has gotten used to the position and I no longer have any problems, I may have my saddle modified but frankly today I'm good for not too much money...
And I love this bike ...
This pic was posted over in another thread here with the ST that had Heritage floorboards. Look how stretched out the guy is and how high the brake lever is.
has me thinking about this same conversion on mine.
