Default Esp question

Hey guys new to the Harley world. I bought a 2018 Fat Bob last week and the esp. On the test drive i thought the front brakes were real sensitive and i just was’nt use to them yet. However, after riding it for a week i believe my front rotors are warped as it surges at low braking speed. My question is wether the rotors are covered. Anybody have any information on this or experience. Thanks for any help in advance.

Should be covered from the dealer or the ESP seeing how you have only had the bike a week. I’d make an appointment with the service department. Brakes are something that should’ve been gone over before the sale.

Rotors are a wear item. If there's a warp to them it was most likely caused by the previous owner running the pads to far down. I'd personally be surprised if the MoCo would approve a warranty replacement for them. But that's just my opinion.

My new FLSB had 300 mi. on it. I rode it for about 300 more and my rotors had hot spots and were warped. My dealer wondered if I was riding the brakes. They wanted to keep me as a customer since this was the first bike I bought from them I think so they got it fixed under warranty. Oddly enough I have 3000+ miles on it and surprise... no warpage now. The dealer feels better and so do I...
