I find it a shame on an icon like the Heritage to have put chrome trim on the engine and the passings but not on the fork or the exhaust, the two into one does not shock me...
Looks like the MoCo ushered in DEI, and kicked out creativity. To me, it looks like they had a bunch of old styles of tins and wheels and said, "let's slap this together....they'll buy it because of the new tank badge".
Getting pretty tired of the lack of forward vision with the company. They've forgotten their roots but embraced the money tree.
I was hoping for more too, but I still like what they've done, the red and black especially. Love the mag wheels. I also like the full black exhaust, just wondering if this new "enhanced sound" they're talking about with the 117 would lead me to keep it. That's usually the first change I make to a new bike.
The 117 is a good upgrade I've rode my buddies Low Rider St with the 117 it does have noticeable more power than my 114 . Used Heritage resale values were already really low the 117 in the 25 model should make them even lower .
I would have to ride it to see if it would be worth it. The 117 HO would be fun. The rides modes, tried them on the touring models, sport mode is the way the bike should run from the get go. Touchy throttle control though in the sport mode. With the 2:1 they could have done something better with the bags, as well as the brakes. Led lights were well behind in the time line. I put leds in mine in 22.
