Default Electronic Issues?

I have a 2024 Road Glide.
im having a couple of different issues with it.

1. I lose all throttle, and bike goes into limp mode. Check light comes on.

2. I am unable to access diagnostics menu.
Yes I have held down trip button and turned bike on. All that happens is the screen will come on as normal however I lose all regular menu function.

I have taken the bike to dealer only for them to tell me that they could not find any codes. So they were unable to do nothing. They did a software update and now I can’t pull up the MF diag menu to even see if there is a code?

try a different dealership and/or open a customer care trouble ticket, process is explained in your owners manual

I would definitely push the dealer harder to look into it. I know there are multiple updates that these newer bikes have needed

In the mean time you can try unplugging the main fuse and plugging it back in. If that doesn’t do it I would suspect it is a bad connection somewhere or a faulty part. Put it on the dealer to find it though

Thank you, I appreciate the feed back. I’m taking back to dealer next week.

Techs that rely only on codes are imbeciles masquerading as people who know Harleys. The service department tolerates this behavior which is why it sucks. Time to find another dealer. Then, of course, the other dealer could be just as bad.

I would do some research and try to find a dealer that is competent to do the work they are supposedly trained to do.

I have the 23.5 CVO Road Glide.Exact same issues.

There is a plug behind the throttle body, check it for looseness.
It has a double click on the plug.
