Default Redline motorcycle dolly

Does anybody use a Redline motorcycle dolly to move there center cooled touring bike around in the garage? How stable is it with the bike on it? What do you use to lift the bike up to slide the dolly underneath it? Do you use a motorcycle lift or a motorcycle scissor jack? I need something to help me move the bike to the back of the garage. I wanted to install a reverse gear however it doesn’t appear. There’s much available. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. Heavy metal thunder.

I have one. I went with Redline instead of Let's Roll because of the price and also, Redline has adjustable height. I can roll it around my garage without any issues. I used one of those skinny red jacks. Now, THAT was pain in the *** and I do not have much confidence in it when I use it lol. It's probably because my garage floor is not even due to drain in the center of the garage, so the bike tends to lean a little and the small red jack lift thingy is finicky with any weird angles.

At any rate, Redline is a great and better alternative to Let's Roll I think. It does the same thing and you get more height out of it which makes it easier to slide the skinny oil pan under it.

Hope this helps!

Redline is cheaper, I have the lets roll and it is height adjustable.
Also has better wheel casters with brake locks not the steel wheels like redline.
I can move it around my garage with ease. Almost to easy.
Couple times the bike has rolled away from me when i forgot to lock the wheels.

Yes it is adjustable but not that much. Just not as high as Redline one. Also, I could not fit my slim oil pan under the Let's Roll dolly. The Redline is wider and also adjustable. I agree about the wheels. However, I never had any issues rolling my bike around with Redline. Even if I did, you can replace those.

Redline: $149
Let's Roll: $395

If you need something just to help move your bike around
Maybe something like this will help.

buell95 - that would work except for the 800 pound weight limit, but thanks for the suggestion. I was asking specifically about using the dolly with a. Center cooled touring motorcycle and couldn’t find any post about that when I did a search on the dolly, Thus the new post about using it with this particular model, the coolant hose hanging underneath the frame is a concern. Thanks for all the replies. HMT

I forgot to mention that Redline is having a Black Friday sale for $149 dollars and sign up on line and get a 10 dollar discount code. So it’s a fairly good deal. I may have to jump on it and try it out and see if it works.

I seen the 800LB limit but realized the front of the bike is still on the ground so wouldn't think the bikes whole weight is on it.
The redline stand should work for you.

I'm considering purchasing the Redline Motorcycle Dolly. I'm just not sure my Dunwell Model 1700 motorcycle jack will fit under it. The width of the front of my motorcycle jack is approximately 21-1/2" (the front wheels on the jack stick out, see attached picture). Looking at the Redline website, I see two completely different specifications for the internal width of this motorcycle dolly.
Under specifications on the website I see: Internal adjustable width: 11.8" - 18.1"
But the picture on the website shows: 15-1/4" - 23-3/8"
I guess I'll give Redline Engineering a call.
