Nice job! It's small details like this that make the big differences in appearance.

Wheels look good, the H-D floating rotors match up real well too.

I'm suprised nobody asked, what grits of paper did you start with and finish with? Then, did you clear coat? Give us a rundown on the total job. By the way, very, very nice job looks sharp.

Do you mean the sliders or the wheels? I do the same except using paint remover on sliders.
1. Remove the clear coat on the sliders, yes please use it, it takes much less time sanding the clear coat. You don't have to do that on Fatboy wheels, no clear from the factory.
2. Use a die grinder, clean all the joints, chip, dent etc. Trust me, if you don't smooth the edges and surface, it will show after you polished them.
3. I am lazy, left the sliders on the bike, it wasn't that hard. Starting with a rough wet sanding pad until you see a smooth surface, use a lot of soapy water. Then 320 grits sand paper, works all the way up 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1500. At the end I used 2000 grits sand paper, lightly sand the surface, it came out nice already, just like mirror finish no kidding.
4. Air blow dry both sliders, put some Autosol polish on the sliders, not too much tho, more doesn't mean better. Take a Flitz ball or Mothers ball on electric drill work around the sliders, you may have to repeat 2-3 times until the black is gone.
5. Followed by Mothers aluminum polish, yes a little elbow grease for a nice touch.
Any more question, PM me.

Glad to see I started a trend with the black centers!
First the MOCO and now 128auto I am glad to see others think this set up looks better than stock!

coop57, yes you inspired me for sure, I do think the stock wheels look plain, chromed solid wheels are better. Did you also paint the dots? They aren't hard to do, get a paint marker from Michaels, you don't even have to mask it, it makes a huge difference in appearance.

Nope I did not do the dots, but you have me thinking about doing them plus polishing the sliders this winter.

Fatboy's Rule!!!
