I think it is in the Low Rider thread, look through that one. Not in the new low rider thread, I know I have seen it recently, like this week. It was a brown leather bag. Looked pretty good.
Was this the bag ?
Anyway this is my bike. I made the bag at the same time I made my seat to fit specifically on the fender strut with a couple of leather straps. The same sort of size as a Fork mounted bag. I kept the sides oval because I didn't want it to stick out to much and just increased the depth a fraction to compensate so I could carry stuff. It dosen't touch the fender and clears the belt guard. It works really well with no issues. I'm able to carry some lightwieght overtrousers for rain, cable ties + a couple of bungee straps. All good.
Here you go.
I have a bag on each strut. I got the largest tool bags that I could find that have slots for the straps in both the vertical and horizontal directions. Then using the horizontal slots you run the straps aournd the struts. Pull them as tight as you can and mark the spot for a new hole for the buckle then cut off the extra length.
I keep my night glasses, gloves, and all the stuff that I don't want in my pockets when I'm riding.

That was the one, not sure why I thought it was a Low Rider, but that is the bag, looks great.
Size should be about 12"x5" no bigger if your looking for the tool bag/fork bag option, just pull the straps tight, make new holes in the straps and cut the excess off..maybe zip tie for confidence ? or few more $$ (not much) I cut, welded, painted and mounted a small ammo box.
i'm limited to things i can do in an apartment right now - most of my tools are a couple hundred miles away in storage
I know the feeling, most of my stuff is in WA, but I have been buying tools as needed here, hell, who am I kidding, any excuse for new toys...lol
If you need tools and a place to do maintenance, let me know.
