Default Air ride on a softail?

Anyone here installed air ride on a softail? I have an 05 Springer Classic & would love to lower it a bit but the floorboards already drag as it is, so id like to be able to drop for bike nights & bike shows but when i ride id like it to be up to at least stock height, anyone her have experience w/ air ride on softies? what are good companies? Any info would be appreciated

Progressive Airtail on my 02 FLSTS...I bought the bike with it already installed...(one of the selling points). I love it... I do drag the exhaust when it is lowered, but I put long fishtails on. I have not dragged the floorboards. Before spring I'll be putting a lowering kit on the front end as well..

Any quality air ride will cost between 1200-1700.
These are the leading names.

Progressive Air Tail
Legends
SAS- really cool, all self contained unit. Only have to run a power lead.

Do they make softail systems where you dont need a compressor, id be cool with lowering it at my house w/ my at home compressor, my dads Ultra you can do that, he doesnt have the compressor but he has the ability to lower if needed

Nothing that I have seen. It would be tough since the shocks are underneath.

The SAS system has an internal compressor. No hoses, only one wire for a power switch.

I believe you can run the progressive shocks alone with no compressor. I was considering putting on the shocks first, then saving up for the onboard compressor.

If that gets installed on a softail, how do you reach the drain plug when it comes time to change the transmission oil? Do you have to take the shock off? Now that would be a real pain...!

Same question as above...

On them folks who have an SAS or like the Shotgun shock on a Soft tail.. how do you get to the transmission plug that usually sits between stock shocks?
