Platinum Softail Shock System... Simply AMAZING!!!
#31
I installed my new air ride on Saturday and all I can say is WOW. This system is insane. The amount of adjust-ability is really impressive. So is the fact that I don't need to remove the shock to drain my transmission oil. It's about time for a tranny oil change. Took it for a nice ride on Sunday and it rides like a dream. I am still getting used to getting it set in the sweet spot. With the option of ride height and compression/dampening it is great. I kept adjusting it on the fly and actually thought I found the perfect spot, but then i would stop and mess with it some more and it felt even better. All of the parts on the kit are absolutely gorgeous, and the compressor fills this thing really fast. This compressor is nearly twice the size of the Hi Lo. Definitely the best money I have spent on my bike in quite a while. I am thoroughly impressed by this system.

I got a quick video of the system on Drew's ride yesterday. Here it is being aired up, down for compression/dampening, letting out the compression, and then being dropped back down again. Notice how fast it goes from all the way down to all the way up.

The compressor mounts where the charcoal canister is. remove the charcoal canister, cut of f a small piece of the canister bracket and use hose clamps around the bracket. It is a tight fit with such a substantial compressor but it works great. I compared my Hi Lo compressor to the Platinum one and there is quite size difference. See for yourself. Hi Lo compressor is on the bottom in the first pic. Second is the compressor new mounted.
