Finally got my fairing on. Been messing with my satellite radio antenna but still having issues with signal. I've moved it outside the fairing and to the windshield and figured that would give it a clear view. I really don't want to have an antenna mounted on the handlebars but debating on putting a 3' inside the fairing and trying that out. Anyone had luck with the 'puck' style antenna? In the last photo you can see where I have the antenna.
System:
Headunit: Sony 570UP
Speakers: 4x5.25" Polk DB
Amp: RF 300x4
it's been a while since i used that style of antenna but if i recall correctly it should be placed parallel to the ground for best reception, or 90 degrees down from what you have.
-edit-
where did you get that amp mount from? that's exactly what i am looking for.
Got it from Amazon. Worked well and got here in 2 days.
