Default need advice on upgrading system

Have 2013 cvo roadglide...going to replace the hu fairing and saddlebags speakers as well as new amp. Going to get rid of all the boom equiptment.
Going with either the sony or kenwood hu...trying to decide
amp pn4-1000d
fairing speakers kappa 62.11
saddlebag speakers still looking.
I know I have to get the adapter to still use handlebar controls, but here is where I am lost lol. I will be running own wire for amp will the speakers have to be wired through existing Harley harness or can I just wire straight from amp and bypass the hd wiring? same for hu, do I have to wire into existing harness?
I have wired cars and trucks and stereos just trying to get info on what I am doing lol
thanks

Yes. You can completely by pass the HD harness with the exception of the handlebar controls. If you go hawg wired or biketronics both adaptors will plug into the harness for the handlebar controls.

Get these for your saddle bag speakers if they have them in stock. It's best to call first.

Call Bill at Biketronics. I'm pretty sure they still sell the adaptors.
