Should my saddlebag lid speakers be 4ohm?
Im running a RF300x2 to my Focal pc165's. But in the market for lids with speakers. I was going to order the Hogtune lids with the 6x9's from Thefactorymatch.com. But realize that Im running 4hm in the focals now. The hogtunes 6x9's are 2ohm, I think? Should I get different 6x9's? Thanks guys.

If you are going to add lids and 6X9's you need another amp.
You can either add a 4 channel amp, of if you are happy with the PBR add a second one. There's a vid posted by Tundrabuilt I think is the screen name, and he was running the Hogtunes 6X9 with a PBR and it sounded pretty damn good.

I think it all depends what you are going to pay for them. I've read that Hogtunes is only selling the lids with their speakers. Not sure if you can purchase the lids alone. If the lids come with speakers at a decent price -- run them for now. To compare, decent 6X9's will run you around 130-150 bucks. Really good ones will run over 300.00

Well you gotta think this thru and plan this out. Somethings to consider:
1. What four channel amp? What's your budget. The best bang for your buck is the PN4.1000D, but you need the JM amp mount for it to fit on the 14's. The majority of the amps that fit are either expensive (BT 4180, T400X4AD, Arc 600.4), or less powerful (RZ4.2000D, Cerwin B4). A Diamond Audio Micro4 could be an option. Also consider you may or may not lose some FM reception.
2. If you are not going to flash it, I would get BT's Line leveler and you could run an RCA splitter to both channels on the amp. You just would lose the ability to fade.
You could always run a second PBR300 in your fairing. Although some of the options I listed above I think would sound much better.
