If your gonna be pushing 4ohm speakers with it I don't think you'll notice much if any difference at all.

You can push the CVB4 amp hard! I have been running it all last year and I will be keeping it. Pushing 2 6.5 JL C3 in the front and 2 6x9 RF T1692 in the bag lids.

The CVB54 is the newer one.

Just so you know, the b54 is discontinued. The diamond audio micro 4v2 is the sister amp of the b54. On paper, the 4v2 has a little better specs...we will see. Lol The b54 is still around at some places but are getting hard to come by. I just got a 4v2 from LL247 for a killer deal! Maybe send him a pm to see if he can help?

I have been thinking about upgrading to the B52. Just trying to make my mind up if I'm adding saddle bag speaker lids.

LL, can you elaborate on this some?

I've read where folks say the Micro line has better internals, I've read where other say it's the exact same amp. I understand that the board, engineering design, etc. is the same as this happens with numerous amps but in neither side of this have I seen a bench test on both amps, or amp guts side by side. So if indeed the Micro has better internals (not sure which ones) etc. how does that translate to better sound from the same board design?

I've had both the B2 and the Micro2 V1, but unfortunately I did not have them at the same time to A/B them. I was impressed with the SQ of both.

AAWAV....where you at bro. We need some amp engineering talk here.
