Cerwin Vega B52 abd Diamond Audio Micro 2V2 are the Exact Same Amp!

Think of it this way:
B52 = Toyota Camry
2V2 = Lexus ES 350
Both made by the same company. Looks pretty similar outside, specs are the same. Same frame. Thousands of identical parts.
Are they the same car? The Toyota and the Lexus will both get me to the grocery store in the exact same amount of time yet there are millions ES 350s on the road next to their gross, lackluster step sister Camry. There are unseen components that make small differences. To some, the differences aren't worth the difference in cost. To some they are!

The difference between the amps as told to me from Larry Frederick with CV-DA is a superior Heat Sink and better Filters on the Diamond Audio. He said it equates to lower failure rate because of the heat sink and a warmer sound because of the filters.
Can you hear the difference at 80 MPH? I sincerely doubt it
IMO...I would use the DA in the faring over the CV for the reasons listed above.

Thanks for all the replies! I have the Diamond amp in the left saddlebag driving the Pioneer 6x9 pro's in the lids. The CV B52 is in the tourpak driving my tourpak pod speakers. I'm using a RF TM400x4ad bridged in the front fairing. One more thing the Diamond has that the CV doesn't... a cool, LED lite up logo on the case!
