bluetooth transmitter for a radio instead of speakers
I just installed a JVC KD-R97MBS along with some hogtunes speakers into my 2014 FLHTP (police model). Its a nice little radio, and the speakers are connected to the radio via the wiring harness. On the back of the radio are some RCA type plugs.
What I'd like to do is connect a Aluratek universal bluetooth transmitter to the RCA jacks, and bluetooth connect to a set of bluetooth speakers in my helmet. If I need to disconnect the hogtune speakers, that's OK. Im just not crazy about the sounds quality of the speakers at speed, and Id like to have theAM/FM Pandora, Sirius etc. features of the radio along with a little better sound quality.
Best case would be if I could leave the speakers connected, so if I want to run the run through the speakers, that would still work too.
Ive seen riders using the Aluratek transmitter / receiver using it as a receiver, but some of the reviews and write ups Ive seen, it looks like this would do what I want it to.
Thanks for your advice!
