Help with decision
Hey,
I have a 2015 Street Glide Special. I've never had an upgraded sound system on any bike, so not sure what I should be looking for. I listen to some classic rock but mostly Country music. I'm looking for loud and clear at 80mph. I have been reading on here for a few months and here is my shopping list so far:
DD AW6.5
DD AT28
DD TXO crossovers
JL Audio MX500/4 or DX400/4
BT Fairing pod eliminators
BT 355 Line leveler
I've been on the fence about getting color matched lowers for my bike from Harley Davidson. It's 6 to 8 weeks to get the lowers for me, so I need to decide if I want them now. I could get speaker pods for the lowers and add to my system. IS IT WORTH IT. There are no plans for lid speakers for me. My next bike will probably be an Ultra so even if I don't add lowers there probably be extra speakers in my future.
Thank you in advance for any and all advice, this forum is priceless.

I bought the DD speaks from a forum member, and recently "completed" install and tweaking. It is a fairing only setup and they are great I think you will be very happy with them.
As I understand it, lowers are a great investment for adding to your system when riding. Especially riding solo.
