Anyone remember details about the old RadioSounds head units??
like the title says, i need some details about the inner workings of the old head units. mine is an 04 Ultra classic, radio, cd, wb,and cb and intercom. i dont really want to change it.
I got an Arc PSM in install on it, but i'm hoping to get some more info from you folks. Arc has a Harely harness to use for HL inputs, that has resistors built into the harness. i've been told this was to load the channels on the head unit, casue the HK and the newer BB audio systems needed to see some sort of load to work correctly. I'm curious if this also applies to the older Radio Sound head units. The folks at ARC can't really tell me as this was not out when they got in the game, and after searching both here and on the internet i've been having trouble trying to find out how to make contact with the Radio Sound company for help.
I don't mind using the harness if i need to, I'm trying to avoid A)doing any damage to anything, B) trying not to do work that i don't have to and C)NOT DOING ANY DAMGE BY MAKING AN IDIOT MISTAKE.
So anyone got anything for me?
thanks again.
marco
ps. i did try to call them, cou;dn't get though to a person, so left a message, no call back.
i did send an email, and again no response.
