18 SGS 4 Speaker w/amp Setup Help
Hey guys! I love all the info available here, but not being a real audio or electronics guy could use some help. I just purchased an 18 SGS with lowers and would like to do a fairing speaker upgrade with additional speakers in the lowers as well. Trying to keep the money under $700 if possible.
From my research here I'm looking at the CV B54 4-channel amp with 4 Infinity Kappa 62.11 speakers. I'd love to hear your thoughts on:
Thanks in advance for the help!

- whether this is a decent setup
- should I look at different speakers for the lowers (perhaps biased more towards bass)
- what else will I need, or need to do to make this work
Thanks in advance for the help!

I've never used or heard your amp or speaker choices. As far as what else you will need.
A BT355 line leveler from Biketronics. If you want front / rear fade control to work between the fairing and lowers, you'll need 2 line levelers and a radio flash to the Ultra 0amp 4 speaker.
You will need 6' of 8g wire for both positive and negative connections to battery. You'll also want an inline fuse setup with 35 or 40 amp fuse.
Heavy duty use Velcro to attach amp to bracket.
1.5m Stinger RCA wires

The kappas are a very solid budget speaker but in a tier that will leave u wanting more.
Run the numbers for all the goodies u have committed to and let the gang know what u have left in the budget. Go big the first time or u will be back at the well looking for more in a hurry and money pissed away.

FYI on the 2018 there is no orange wire coming out of the headlight harness to hook up the remote wire. I looked all over the place to find it only to see an orange nub in the harness itself. There is a blue power antenna wire (16ga) coming out of the HU that you can use but it will not turn on the amp in acc. mode, only in ign. mode. You can still splice into the cig lighter if you want.

Looked up Spork on FB at the recommendation of other users, especially for the DB WBX6 Moto's. He's recommending a Massive marine grade amp (no other details right now). Anybody running this setup from Spork? Seems like the current consensus is the SS PN 4 1000, so I'm thinking about just getting the speakers from him.
