Hello All ,

So I have a buddy installing a cerein Vega b55 amp and kappa 6.5 speakers Pretty much the typical speaker only upgrade with LL. and he mentioned to me that hes having problems getting the stock grills back on my 2014 street glide standard.

Does anyone have any suggestions of what he can or should do I where is there a different type of grill I should have purchased thank you

 

What problems are you having? speaker hitting the grill? Most here including myself use hogtune grills.




I have not installed kappas in the pods but from looking at them, the woofer rubber sticks out far enough to hit the grills in front. You may have to take the pods apart, modify them to mount those kappas inside the pods or get biketronics speaker brackets.

 

Kappas have to mount inside the pods.

 

I figured as much looking at the way they are constructed with the woofer rubber alignment to the mounting flange sticking out.
