Default Speaker adapter compatibility?

Hey all,

I currently have an ARC Audio setup. My 6.5" speakers, amp, and speaker adapters came in their MPAK kit.

Does anyone know if all 6.5" adapters are the same? Can I use my ARC 6.5" adapters for a different brand speaker?

Just curious, what brand 6.5" speakers are you all running? Thanks for the help.

All adapters are not the same, neither are all 6.5 speakers, but most can be made to fit, check the specs for the mounting depth and actual speaker size, that will be your clue. Generally most will fit, but there are always exceptions to the rule.

Yes, not all are the same. Most are pretty similar, but you need to factor in mounting depth. There is only so much depth to mount the speakers. An important spec to look for in your speakers is "bottom mount depth". I ordered Hawg Wired adapter rings for my RF Power 6.5"s because it was the only company that specifically said what the max depth a speaker would work. They were a little pricey but the piece of mind that my speakers will work was worth it.

I'm looking at putting the Rockford Amp PBR300x4 in my bike, looking for reviews?
I have a Sony radio, with Hog tunes speakers, Hog tunes in the lowers, and the tweater.
Looking for a great sound, just waiting to purchase the Amp.

I've got the ARC adapters and have Hybrid Audio 6.5" speakers attached to them. No mods just bolted them on.
