What are the best speakers to upgrade the street glide fairing speakers? Are the Hawg wired speakers worth it? Can you buy standard speakers and amps or are motorcyle speakers required? Any help would be great.

I like the Focals better than Hawg. You can get regular speakers. Whatever speaker you get, you should upgrade to a 6.5". As far as amps, I like the pbr amps. You would want a pbr, arc, or hawg just because of the size, Makes it easier to mount.

 

I run Hawg Wired amp and speakers and am very happy , they are more than many brands but worth it in my opinion , Frank Drago a forum sponsor gives good discounts

Which Arc amp do you have ?

 

I just did the Rockford Fosgate 6.5s in the fairing and 6x9s in the lids with a their 300x4 amp, love the sound.

 

When I play hallowed be thy name through my system I get the most compliments from all ages

 

Got Focal 6.5 CVX in the fairing, Polk Audio 6X9's in the lids with JL Audio XD200/2 amp in the fairing. Both sets of speakers have built in crossovers and it sounds awesome!

 

I have the Biketronics Titan 6.5 speakers and the Arc amp for sale if you're interested. I traded my Streetglide in and took a few accessories off before trading her in. PM me if interested and for pics.
