Default 14+ speaker lids with power locks

Does anyone know if you are able to retain the power locks on 14 and up speaker lids if you cut the basket out to use 6x9 adapters to upgrade to 6x9 speakers?
Thanks!
Brad

I’m going through this now with some Bad dad lids, it’s a no go without some mods, but I’m pretty sure I can make them work, I’m waiting to hear back from them before I go hacking and grinding

Bad dad is helping, looks like the only solution is to relocate the actuator, but then its in the way of the limiting strap.

Now it looks like I may be able to just put a spacer in there and make it work, will need a good 5/8” one

Southerncycle_wtcustoms posted a pic on Instagram I don't know if that helps. It looks like you are on the same path.

I got it done, a spacer, some trimming of the lock mech box, some grinding here and there, it’s tight but everything fits closes and works

What adapter are you using to go from the 5x7 to 6x9?
